How It Works

Great gardens require constant upkeep – fertilizing, weeding, mulching, and more. We have seen too many homeowners pay large sums of money for a garden transformation, only for it to fall into disarray in a matter of years.

Pure Lands offers you a way to gradually renew your garden to your vision, with monthly maintenance and design work at an affordable rate.

We begin with a consultation of your long-term goals, and follow with monthly installations and maintenance sessions.

Tiers

We offer you three tiers – Basic, Deluxe, and Pro. You are welcome to choose the best fit given your situation, and change it with time.

For example, for a garden in disrepair, you might begin with the Pro plan. Once the garden is back in shape, you might move down to the Basic plan to maintain it over subsequent months.

That said, you can also begin and remain on the Basic or Deluxe plan to gradually renew your garden over the course of the year, making incremental design changes as needed and maintaining it throughout.

You're also welcome to utilize a plan for a few months and end it once you are satisfied. In this way, our model is highly adaptable to your needs.

Rates

Each tier has monthly materials and labor costs included.

  • Basic: $30 in labor, $20 in materials.
  • Deluxe: $60 in labor, $40 in materials.
  • Pro: $120 in Labor, $80 in materials.

If materials fees are not completely used in a given month, they will be rolled into the next. Your current materials balance will be emailed to you each month after our visit. Common monthly materials costs include mulch, fertilizer, and plants.

Monthly Visits

After subscribing to a plan, we will contact you for a consultation. Once we assess your needs, we'll make a basic garden plan to be finalized with your input.

Each month, we'll email you our next steps a week prior to our visit, along with a date and time of arrival. Afterword, we'll email you a summary of our work.

This could involve mulching, weeding, plans for new plants and trees, or others. If you have input, you're welcome to share it at that time. We group our clients based on location, and will alert you of the day of our visit the week before.

Winter Hiatus

Our season officially ends in November and starts back up in April. When that time arrives, we will pause your subscription through Stripe, our payment processor.

If you'd like to continue your subscription through those months, you're welcome to do so with a brief email to us. Your subscription will accumulate in your materials balance for the coming year.
